A session musician filling a gap in the market at a point in time when it's possible to do so. Personally I find his demeanour, his apearnace and his speech an insult to the thousands of musicians, both black and white, who overcame real hardship to make so much beautiful music. Steve's playing is phony, hokey, call it what you will - and it is plagiaristic, it is TOO knowing..... Steve - best of luck to you for making a buck, no shame in that. But take a look at BB King - he was born on a plantation in Mississippi, played for dimes on the street as a teenager, worked his ass off for more than 60 years - and he always wears an immaculate $5000 suit, because he's made it and he's proud.
